Food Safety

The Chautauqua Produce Auction has a food safety plan in place and is certified yearly.  Within that plan is a traceability policy that is followed for all fruits and vegetables sold at the auction.  For more information, contact Crist Hostetler phone 716-355-2008

Any produce brought to the auction must be labeled with a sticker with your ID # and date of packing.

Other than bin produce, all produce must be in new, clean boxes.

Anyone wanting a copy of our Food Safety Plan or our certificate of inspection by Equicert may obtain one at the office.
